Larini Performance ECU Recalibration places emphasis on increasing engine efficiency by improving low-end and mid-range torque & power delivery - not solely at the top end where the extra power can rarely be used on the road. Beneficial gains equate to introducing power and torque where the road-driver needs it, and making the car more driveable, rather than quoting excessive hp numbers which have no benefits in the real world.
Phase 1: Stock Vehicle -
ECU Recalibration > Pairing increased engine efficiency with improved driveability (without sacrificing reliability), by optimizing air/fuel ratio/timing/boost pressure/more.
Furthermore, significant time and emphasis is placed on developing optimal throttle pedal/body sensitivity and performance.
Phase 2: Larini Uprated Vehicle -
ECU Recalibration > synchronized with increased assisted engine breathing, via the addition of Performance Air Filters + Sports Catalysts/Sports Muffler (supplied separately).
- The Larini ECU Recalibration upgrade requires the vehicle to be sent to Larini Systems for the required works. The vehicle will be returned to the owner with a pre and post dyno read-out.
- If the vehicle is overseas, in certain instances, the ECU(s) may be sent to Larini Systems for recalibration - please enquire. Return will be by FedEx Air.
- Prices may vary where an ECU set-up must be physically removed from a vehicle by Larini Systems. In this instance the owner will be informed at the outset.
- Vehicle's stock/factory ECU settings are saved so the ECU can be reverted to stock if ever required.
